My "Seizing the Cheese" Theorem

I have spent a lot of time thinking about this blog and what seizing the cheese really means. Not only what it means to me but also how I want to share it with you all.

Seizing the cheese is about enjoying life.

“Love the life you live, Live the life you love.”
— Bob Marley

One of my favorite quotes.

Through some of my favorite avenues - my love of cheese, adventure (travel too) & inspirational quotes - I want to share with you how I "seize the cheese" in my own life.

Why seize the cheese?

Well beyond the fact that the namesake comes from the top of a Magic Hat Beer. Why not seize the cheese?

Let me get a little cheesy for a second. You are the only you. We are all an endangered species, solely because we exist. And with that, we are given one chance in this world. It’s up to ourselves to get up when we fall down. It’s up to ourselves to embrace fully and authentically who we are. It's up to ourselves to build a life for ourselves that we love.

I get that life isn't always sunshine and daisies. It's not supposed to be. Whatever adversity we each have lived through, we cannot let that keep our focus and keep us from shining to our full potential. Struggle is the prerequisite for strength. But my question is: why relish in the bad and why NOT relish in the good?

Loving life requires a mindset change, not to mention, practice. Rather than look like obstacles as such, turning it into opportunity. I admit I struggle. But there's always progression. And this is part of the blog.

All of the things that happen to us are neutral. When we realize this and that it is truly about OUR reaction rather than the action itself, it's life changing.

After all, these adversaries are what make you, you. Embrace them, love life & be-YOU-tiful.

Everything happens for a reason, right? I, at least, like to believe it does.

This blog is about far more than just cheese. It's about the relishing in the melty goodness of life. It's about seizing the cheese.
